The Uptown Project estimated around 50 people participated in Francesville’s town clean up day in memory of Darlene Mellon over the weekend. It’s amazing how much trash was gathered and discarded. All the pots and landscaping are ready for Spring. Just as the group picture and refreshments were finished, the storm let loose. In true Francesville fashion, everyone got back on the streets and helped each other with clean up from storm damage. Uptown Project hopes to make Darlene Mellon Day an annual event.
